EYE Sport and Vento di Sardegna signed a sponsorship agreement for the 2014-2015 season.
EYE Sport and Vento di Sardegna, two excellent realities of Sardinia Island, are pleased to announce that they have reached an agreement for a technical sponsorship for the season 2014-2015.
This new collaboration, renewing a relationship already consolidated in the seasons 2010 and 2011, demonstrates the will of sportswear brand EYE Sport to promote and support internetionally the best Sardinian sport; and the desire of Vento di Sardegna, particularly in the person of the skipper Andrea Mura, to connect its identity and its victories to Sardinia, as shows the choice of wearing clothes EYE Line 4 Mori.
EYE Sport and Vento di Sardegna will board together on the 2nd of November in St. Malo, in Brittany, where they will start the prestigious Route du Rhum race. During the entire trip the brand EYE Sport will be printed on the main sail of the boat.
EYE Sport is an Italian brand of sportswear, active on the international market since April 2006 and specialized in teamwear.
During these few years EYE Sport achieved high-level sponsorships with sport’s companies like the Italian Volleyball Federation – regarding for instance the last European Beach Volley’s championship.
Presently EYE Sport dresses, among others, the basketball team Dinamo Banco di Sardegna (playing in Italian Serie A and in Eurocup); the football team Ergotelis f.c., revelation of the greek Serie A; and the volleyball team Murillo, champion of the female Spanish Supercup.
With a catalog of over 1600 products, EYE Sport is building an extensive international network of distribution. Currently EYE Sport has 15 brand stores between Italy, Spain, Greece and Poland and more than 150 multi-brand stores across Europe. The brand expands to the average of 5 new stores a year.

Andrea Mura
Andrea Mura was born in Cagliari the 13th September 1964: since the age of 14, he dedicates himself to competitive sailing, collecting achievements and records in different classes. From European titles in the 420 class to the World title Juniores 470 ; two Olympic campaigns in 470 ; a Tornado without forgetting ten Italian titles. In 1988 it was the time of the Copa America with the Moor of Venice: here too Andrea wins several titles such as two World Championships, one in Cup and one in 50 feet Class ; and the Louis Vuitton Cup. Andrea Mura is not only a great athlete: former founder of « Andrea Mura Sail Design », Andrea develops innovative technical solutions which earned him an Oscar as "Best sailmaker, 2005".
In 2010, Andrea accept a new challenge devoting himself to the offshore sailing on board of Vento di Sardegna, formidable Open 50 : he wins immediately the Route du Rhum transatlantic race! ! which takes place every four years, 3,543 miles from the cold waters of the North Atlantic to the Caribbean sea, Andrea is the the first Italian to become a legend.
Andrea wins again in 2012 with victory and record both in Twostar and in Quebec - St. Malo. In 2013, another confirmation in the terrible Ostar, 3000 miles at polar temperatures from England to the United States, the hardest of solitary races because upwind and upstream. Andrea has just won (for the second time) the award "Sailor of the Year." In November, he will attempt to win again the Route du Rum.
