EYE Sport unveils “Shapes of Legacy”, the new Cagliari Calcio Home Kit for the 2026/27 season
Some shapes transcend time.
Lines, colours and symbols that preserve an identity and continue to tell its story, season after season. Inspired by this concept, "Shapes of Legacy" is the new Cagliari Calcio Home Kit for the 2026/27 season, designed by EYE Sport: a project that reinterprets the Club's red-and-blue tradition through a contemporary design language, where style, innovation and identity come together in a single vision.
The new Home jersey features Cagliari's iconic red and blue colours, reimagined through a subtle tone-on-tone geometric pattern that adds depth to the design while reinforcing its modern character. Among the kit's most distinctive features is the innovative combination of sublimation and heat-transfer printing: a technical and stylistic solution through which EYE Sport integrates two different manufacturing techniques into a single project, enhancing the depth of the geometric graphics, the definition of every detail and the jersey's overall character through a perfect balance of innovation and design. The look is completed by white shoulder piping and a ribbed collar with a magnetic button closure, an exclusive detail that combines elegance with functionality.
Made from 100% REPREVE® certified technical polyester fabric, the jersey is engineered to provide comfort, lightweight performance and durability. This choice reflects EYE Sport's vision of combining innovation, performance and sustainability, with the belief that respecting one's land also means embracing materials and production processes designed for the future. Flat ribbed cuffs ensure an optimal fit and enhanced durability during use.
The Club crest is applied on the left chest, over the heart, while the EYE Sport logo appears on the opposite side. Both are made from silicone, delivering a modern, premium finish. On the back, just below the collar, the Four Moors emblem is featured in silicone, symbolising the identity of Sardinia and the deep bond between the Club and its territory.
Inside the hem, the words "Cagliari Calcio" are printed, while an NFC tag is positioned on the lower left side of the jersey. The garment is completed by an internal identification label which, in the case of player-issued or fan-personalised shirts, certifies the wearer.
The Home shorts, also made from 100% REPREVE® certified technical polyester fabric, complete the kit with a coordinated design. The Elastic Jacquard waistband features the tone-on-tone "Cagliari Calcio" and "EYE Sport" wording, while drawstrings allow for an adjustable fit. On the front, the Club crest and the EYE Sport silicone logo are displayed. On the back, a geometric-patterned fabric insert finished with white piping echoes the jersey's graphic motif, creating visual continuity between the two garments.
Completing the project, for the 2026/27 season the entire kit is once again presented in compostable packaging, further demonstrating EYE Sport's commitment to increasingly sustainable solutions.
