A project in which the jersey becomes a true visual narrative of the Club and the city, without compromising its nature as a technical product designed for the pitch.
All three kits are entirely produced using sublimation, a technique that allows graphic elements, textures and details to be integrated directly into the fabric, offering great freedom in the design process while preserving the garment’s technical characteristics. Sublimation therefore makes it possible to develop complex graphics deeply connected to the local area, without adding weight or compromising fit and freedom of movement.
The design research is complemented by a precise focus on the needs of athletes: technical materials featuring Repreve certification, garment construction and solutions designed to ensure comfort, lightness and freedom of movement, supporting performance during matches.
The result is three different kits in terms of colours and visual language, yet united by a single principle: representing Piacenza through the elements that are part of its identity.
Made in Italy, at the EYE Sport facility in Cagliari.
The Home jersey retains Piacenza Calcio’s traditional red and focuses its narrative on the Palazzo Gotico, one of the city’s most iconic landmarks.
The decorations and architectural elements of Palazzo Gotico have been reinterpreted and transformed into a graphic motif that runs across the surface of the jersey, creating a tone-on-tone texture. The design thus brings a recognisable element of the city directly onto the pitch, making it an integral part of the kit’s identity.
The jersey’s details also contribute to the concept: the collar and trims recall the Club’s colour palette, while the graphic elements inspired by Piacenza’s architecture are incorporated into the design without weighing it down.
The Away jersey takes a broader look at the city.
White becomes the base for a composition in which beige, black and red accompany a series of references to Piacenza’s architecture and iconic landmarks. Palazzo Gotico, Piazza Cavalli, the Column of Santa Maria Vergine, the Basilica of Sant’Antonino, the Basilica of San Francesco, the Monumento al Ponte d’Italia and other elements of the city’s heritage are graphically reinterpreted and brought together in a single visual narrative.
The Latin motto “URBS AEMILIAE PRINCEPS” appears on the collar, while the reference to “Placentia” further strengthens the connection with the city’s history and identity.
The kit’s details continue this visual journey: decorations inspired by Palazzo Gotico are reinterpreted on the trims and shorts, creating continuity between the jersey and the architectural elements from which the project draws inspiration.
The Third kit changes direction, adopting a darker, more contemporary look based on anthracite grey and black, with yellow details.
The concept draws inspiration from the stadium’s coordinates, transformed into a graphic element running across the kit. An essential and direct reference to the place where the team takes to the pitch and where the relationship between the Club, its players and the city comes to life every week.
The coordinates thus become the distinctive mark of the Third kit: a precise point on the map identifying the home of football, the team and Piacenza’s passion.
Three kits, three interpretations, one identity.
