Cagliari Calcio presents the new 2026/27 Away jersey by EYE Sport: a kit inspired by the aesthetics of American football, reinterpreting its bold and contemporary character through a footballing lens. Dynamic lines, technical details and a gritty design come together in a jersey created to stand out both on and off the pitch, expressing personality, identity and competitive spirit.

The new Away Kit, which will be worn for the first time in the match against Torino FC on Sunday, May 17 at Unipol Domus, was born from the desire to look overseas by embracing one of the symbolic sports of the United States. It is part of an international project where different sports intersect, meet and enrich one another. This is reflected in the launch of the kit alongside the Crusaders Cagliari, a Cagliari-based American football club founded in 1990 that represents the city at the highest national levels with expertise, passion and quality.

 

THE JERSEY

Made in white, red and navy blue, the new Away shirt is composed of 90% polyester and 10% spandex, a combination that guarantees comfort, elasticity and performance.

The Club crest is applied on the heart side, while the EYE Sport logo appears on the opposite side: both are made of silicone for a premium and modern effect.

The jersey features a custom raglan sleeve construction, characterized by a distinctive diagonal cut running from the collar to the underarm, eliminating shoulder seams. This solution is designed to ensure greater freedom of movement, comfort and a smoother, more natural fit.

The sleeves are made from interlock fabric, offering durability and comfort, while the ribbed cuffs ensure a snug fit, helping to protect from the wind and retain warmth.

Completing the design is a ribbed V-neck collar, designed to provide a stable fit and a clean, refined look.

On the back of the neck, inside the collar, the phrase “Aim Higher” appears in sublimated print; within the neckline there is also a triangular insert featuring the Four Moors emblem in grey, also printed via sublimation. The words “Cagliari Calcio” appear on the inner hem as well.

The jersey is also equipped with an NFC tag positioned on the lower left side. Inside the shirt there is an identification label which, in the case of jerseys used by players or individual supporters, certifies the wearer.

Special attention has also been paid to sustainability: the packaging is entirely compostable, in line with a more environmentally conscious approach.

 

The 2026/27 Away Kit is completed by the official match shorts, made from 100% recycled polyester fabric.

The waistband is crafted in Elastic Jacquard with tone-on-tone “Cagliari Calcio” and “EYE Sport” lettering, while drawstring cords allow the fit to be adjusted for maximum comfort.

On the front, the Club crest appears on the right side and the EYE Sport logo on the left, both made in silicone.

The shorts also feature side slits with reinforced stitching at the highest stress point, a technical solution designed to improve fit and freedom of movement.

The shorts, too, come packaged in fully compostable materials.
